BIT provides a AM clinic for kids prior to Kindergarten starting at 18 months old. AM Clinic is staffed by trained RBTs with a 1:1 ratio, as well as supervised daily by a BCBA. AM Clinic runs from 8:00-2:30 Monday - Friday.

NEW NORTH CHARLESTON HUB BRINGS TOGETHER DISABILITY SERVICES, CREATIVE ARTS, AND EMPLOYMENT RESOURCES UNDER ONE ROOF
North Charleston, SC The building at 4951 Jenkins Ave. has long been a haven of care and safety since it first served as an infirmary for GARCO during World War II. It then became the domestic violence counseling center and shelter for My Sister’s House. Beginning in 2026 and newly dubbed “The Alcove”, it will serve as the home for several Disability-focused organizations.
Opening in January thanks to the efforts of local community advocates and nonprofit organizations, this initiative will offer a variety of services to individuals across the lifespan. The Alcove will unite five separate entities under one roof, creating a one of a kind environment for connection, creativity, and community growth for people with Disabilities and their supporters. A fitting addition to the Park Circle area, which is already home to “the World’s largest inclusive playground”.
